I liked how the hotel sat right in Dublin’s centre and was close to a bus stop that takes you to the airport, and it’s over a lively pub. The only downside was that the room was a bit rough.

The location was convenient, close to the places I wanted to visit in Dublin and within a reasonable distance to Molly Malone, a pick‑up point for day trips out of Dublin. The price was near the bus stop for the express to the airport. I did notice some mold‑like spots on the ceiling in the bathroom.

The place is ideal, right behind Trinity College, no more than 15 minutes on foot from the centre. The big bed is very comfortable! The airport bus stop is in front of the hotel, just 4 minutes from Lombard. The pub on the ground floor is convenient, and in the evening it’s busy but still no noise problems. Across the street is a Thai restaurant and several nice spots for breakfast.

Even though there’s a pub downstairs, everything was surprisingly quiet. We were on the second floor and expected some noise and a bit of crustiness, but the room was actually pretty clean and quiet. The curtains looked worn and torn, so they could use an upgrade. Check‑out is around 10 pm, but you can’t store luggage until noon—what do you do with it in the meantime?
