I was right near the chora, and the room stayed spotless with daily towel changes, and the host was helpful. The downside was that the room accessed from a common balcony/terrace was often noisy at night because kids coming back to their rooms didn't mind being loud and shouted right outside the door, which also kept us from opening the windows.

The location is very good in the middle of the country for evening outings. Mr. Nikos was helpful in taking us from the harbor to the accommodation but did not do the same on the return, so we had to use public transport. The room was clean with basic amenities. The room was very small and had no hair dryer (we asked for one and were told they didn’t have any). We were told towels were changed daily, but they kept the towels we had tossed down for a day and told us they would change them the next day, which they did. The air‑conditioner was locked at a high temperature and didn’t provide any cooling, so we never used it and opened the windows at night for fresh air, and there were no mosquito nets.
