The location, the property and the staff were amazing. The two resident dogs, Benny and Reuben, were the highlight of the stay and were absolutely darlings. Our dog Cisco had a blast playing with them in the yard.

Good breakfast, great location but I wish it were a bit closer to downtown St. Andrews, and it was really cool to stay in a glamping tent for the first time; the hot tub was a nice bonus!

Many previous reviewers had a good experience, but we didn’t. Possibly our room, the Campobello cabin, was the facility’s worst? We booked this stay 11/2025 under the mistaken belief that breakfast would be available. Even now (9/2026), the site’s listing says “Guests appreciate the breakfast provided by the property.” This is misleading, because no breakfast is available unless you arrive Wed‑Sat. We would NOT have booked a stay here if we’d known this. In addition: The room was unpleasantly dim on a rainy afternoon – too few lights, low‑wattage bulbs, a very dark rug. With every room light on, I had to use my phone’s light to find a black sock that had fallen off the bed! The room had no tables or racks suitable for holding luggage, no hangers or hooks for clothing anywhere, no towel bars in the bathroom. The most serious issue: The tub/shower floor was extremely slippery and no non‑skid mat was provided – a real fall hazard.
