The room was a decent size, with tea and coffee on hand. The on‑site restaurant and bar served good food, and the breakfast buffet offered a solid selection. It’s close to Blairgowrie town centre. Our room was on the top floor, reached by a lift then a short flight of steps, which isn’t ideal for older guests. We were unaware of the £10 parking fee displayed outside the hotel.

The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I’m not a fan of buffet breakfasts. The shower head was stuck in a permanent “droop” mode, which kind of ruined what I consider a good hot shower—the best part of the stay.

It was a beautiful, picturesque spot with easy check‑in and very quiet. I paid £10 for parking, which I didn’t mind, but I checked in at 1600, went to a show that night, left at 2030, and when I returned at 2300 there were no parking spaces left, so I had to park on a spare ground at the very back of the hotel. I ended up paying £10 for 4.5 hours.

The only positive thing was how close it is to town. The attitude of most, but not all, staff was disappointing. We paid a lot for our stay and it was let down. We had to pay £70 to park our four motorcycles in one space.
