The location was okay, parking felt safe and the area was quiet. We were switched from Room 1 to Room 7 by email during the day. Room 7 did not match the advertised description because it lacked private facilities. It seemed a long‑term resident had been moved out at short notice, as it wasn’t clean, the fridge was full of old food, the bedding was torn and unlaundered, and there were many insects. The smoking area at the entrance was pretty disgusting, and the main door was unlocked. The public kitchenette was not very clean at all. This was by far our worst experience ever; we couldn’t stay there and had to book another local hotel at the last minute.

I was really disappointed with everything from the cleanliness to the service. We gave Mike a chance to fix things, but even then it was still not okay. The idea that a landlord has to give you a chance to remove dirt, lay out towels, etc., is already bad. He blamed the cleaning lady, and even after he cleaned it didn't improve much. This whole setup shouldn't be rented out. We weren’t allowed to speak up or explain what bothered us in order to find a good solution. It’s just not nice, especially when you work hard all day and just want a fresh bed at night, only to be greeted by spiders, horribly smelling sheets and towels. We’re reluctant to post the photos we took! Maybe Mike has learned from this and improves; we wish him all the best. Good luck, Mike.

The bathroom sink was unexpectedly available in the room, and the price was fine. However, it was really dirty—dust everywhere, spider webs in the corners, grime on the light switch and sink. Some items were broken, so the bedside lamps were unusable. The kitchen was unusable because dirty dishes were everywhere, and the stove and oven hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Some of the pictures in the listing were from a private area. The parking spot was no longer available to us. For the price, at least the spider webs in the room should have been removed and the floor swept.

Everything was excellent. The location is relaxed and quiet. The décor is beautiful and well maintained. The host was very accommodating and friendly!!!
