The spot was great for dodging Bordeaux motorway traffic while heading from Brittany to Spain, and the host’s welcome and attention to guests was really good. The room was clean overall, but there was some melted chocolate left on the dressing desk that wasn’t cleaned up, and the August heat forced us to use the fans, which were too noisy to sleep through.

A very pleasant stay. The accommodation is in a separate quarter, not linked to the Chateau, but comfortable and well equipped. The hosts were charming and breakfast was excellent. Dinner is a simple bistro menu of burgers and salads, as described. Recommended.

“La vie (au pied d'un/de) château, campagne et belle piscine à débordement”

Friendly reception in a bucolic setting, a large park at the foot of a château with a pool. Breakfast, sweet or savory, is of good quality, giving a calm stay and pleasant chats with the owners. Room Thuya (no. 3) has only a tiny window in the door: low light and exposed to outside views. Breakfast is a bit pricey.
