SNU Stay hostel

I stayed here for 7 days and had a very comfortable stay! The complimentary ramen and coffee were really helpful during my stay. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Korea. Thank you so much!

“Eher nicht empfehlenswert”

First impression in the hallway was that it was fairly clean, and there’s a small kitchen in the corridor where you can heat up something. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. The room was smaller than the photos showed (the floor plan indicated that about half the rooms were that size). The bed and mattress were altered to fit the space, so a 20x20 cm corner of mattress and bed was cut out at the foot of the bed; you have to lie at an angle to stretch out. When I arrived only a mattress protector and a blanket without a cover were there, and when I asked if that was normal I was told it was. There were stains on the wall, probably from condensation from the air‑conditioning unit (not a big deal, but it looked untidy).

The room had a microwave, a washer‑dryer, and a fridge; there’s a small shared kitchen with free instant noodles and a coffee machine. (The hangers were a bit few, so if you’re staying long and need to dry clothes you might run out.) It’s right next to the subway, so getting around is easy. A good choice for a one‑ or two‑person trip, though the bed is a bit small and two people might feel cramped.

Being close to the station is super handy if you have business at Seoul University. The auto‑lock opening instructions were confusing and took a while to figure out.

“Excelente ubicacion acorde calidad y precio antifrion muy atento”

The location is great—close to the subway, buses, and shops, right on the avenue. It’s on the 3rd and 4th floors, so there’s no elevator; travelers with luggage need to keep that in mind.
