Location, very friendly and kind staff, absolute calmness after a week in Fethiye’s noisy streets.

The hotel sits within walking distance of both the Pamukkale travertine terraces and the Hierapolis gate, so even though the entrance fee was steep I managed to visit daily (just keep in mind that this entrance requires you to take off your shoes and walk barefoot up the terraces, which might deter anyone uncomfortable with that). The surrounding village functions as a gateway town with three supermarkets nearby, and my room came with a fridge that let me store food. While daytime eateries stayed open, most places shut down after dark, giving the impression that night‑time dining options are limited. The on‑site facilities were more than adequate for a short stay and the housekeeping crew kept everything tidy each day. I appreciated the Japanese version of the website, which gave me a rough idea of what to expect, and the hotel accommodated my early check‑in and late check‑out after I called ahead because of my flight schedule. Unfortunately, the listing mentioned a breakfast‑included rate, but none was offered during my visit, so I ended up buying groceries and eating in the room. The room’s guide even warned against this for hygiene reasons, yet it gave no clear instructions on what to do. I had hoped the Japanese website meant there would be staff who could speak Japanese or at least help with travel advice in Japanese, but that never materialised. Front‑desk personnel were all smiling, courteous and helpful, yet none spoke Japanese and you had to summon them via the front‑desk phone for any request. Getting to the airport was a real headache: there was no shuttle service and I couldn’t negotiate anything without Japanese, so I gave up. On the outbound leg I walked left from the exit, approached the line of buses and minibuses, asked the driver to take me to the hotel and was taken directly for 560 lira. On the return trip I hired a yellow taxi in Pamukkale village, which cost me 3 000 lira.

A single sentence: "The stay was not worth the price."
