The spot is great, the room is decent, there are key‑locked lockers to stash your stuff, and the bathroom is very roomy. Value for money is solid. The only downside is that there’s no hot water.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Uluwatu. It offers great value for its spot. The only negative I can think of is that it’s a bit dark and the outdoor shower can attract bugs.

The place was dirty, there was no room for backpacks, no place for a phone or anything on the bed, no cozy outdoor area, just containers with beds. Plus they changed my bed while I was still staying, my pajamas were on the bed and somehow vanished during that process.

“Cheap(ish) but definitely not worth it.”

The location was convenient, but that alone didn’t make up for everything else. The street leading to the hostel was sketchy and littered. Basically everything was bad. The AC wasn’t working; we set it to the lowest setting and it still blew hot air. It was hotter inside than outside (outside 25 °C). The room, beds, and bathroom all smelled awful. The curtains were broken. I’ve stayed in many hostels in Indonesia and this one was by far the worst. It wasn’t even that cheap; there were plenty of hostels for 3–4 € a night that were clean and nice. The staff were unfriendly, didn’t greet anyone, there was no one at the front desk when I wanted to check in, and after I texted them the guy who came was unhappy.
