The beach was beautiful and well kept, the beach bar was excellent and the restaurant was very good, but there were many ants and, once again, no fridge.

“A short getaway”

From the moment we checked in, we were handed welcome drinks at reception, and the staff were very polite. Arriving early meant we could just hang out at the gazebo until the room was ready. The villas sit on the other side of the resort (Virgin Islands) and are aimed at backpackers, solo travelers, or couples; they offer a different kind of privacy from the rooms and the beach below, but there is no room service because it’s out of reach from the restaurant. If you’re traveling with family, like we were, book a garden‑view or sea‑view room and add extra beds if needed – those are closer to the beach and the restaurant. The resort has a conference room (we had a team‑building event there), a pickle‑ball court, kayaks, paddleboards, floaties, and see‑through canoes. Food is tasty and reasonably priced, with an average wait of 30‑45 minutes. If you want to order ahead for lunch or dinner, just let the staff at the gazebo know what you want and when, and that can reduce wait times. The place stays quiet on weekends, especially Saturday, and there’s live music at night too. The waters are clear and much cleaner than city beaches, which are usually jam‑packed and full of people urinating 😜. It’s a long drive, but if you don’t mind it’s worth it. P.S. If you pay by card, there’s a 3‑3.5 % surcharge, so bring cash just in case.

A fantastic place to stay. The beach is lovely and a bit farther from the city. The restaurant is decent, though not spectacular, but overall it’s pretty good. Nothing negative.

“Beautiful villa aesthetic, enjoyed the ocean view.”

I stayed in villa 1 for one night right next to the white‑sand beach; the water and beach were gorgeous. I liked the complimentary toiletries—shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and soap—and the villa was reasonably clean. The aesthetic was nice. I had pizza and BBQ from the restaurant; the staff were friendly and the food was decent. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and the air‑con was very loud, so I didn’t sleep much. Still, it was worth it for a one‑night stay to enjoy the ocean view and a swim.

The beach was great. The rooms had problems: we didn’t get daily housekeeping and the new toilet items were missing.
