Aaron at the Driftwood restaurant was amazing; I felt sorry for him because apparently 1 October was the off‑season, it was so busy and he was the only waiter. Our rooms weren't ready at check‑in, so we were moved to other rooms on the top floor; there was no elevator, so we had to hike up stairs with suitcases. There weren't enough towels in the rooms—how are two towels enough when you book for four people? It was very, very busy and everything seemed closed.

Schöne Lage. Zimmer völlig abgewöhnt. Möbel sicher 30 Jahre alt. Bett durchgelegen. 3 Übernachtungen und kein einziges Mal kam die Zimmerreinigung. Wir hatten Kategorie "Deluxe". Klimaanlage laut und uralt. Frage nach Reservierung im Restaurant für den Abend wurde mit der Aussage "nicht notwendig" beantwortet. Als wir um 18.30h kamen, hieß es 2 Stunden Wartezeit auf einen Tisch. In der Bar nebenan haben wir am Tresen 2 Plätze gefunden. Dort nach 45 Minuten und Reklamation erst das Essen bekommen. Restaurant auf dem Wasser und Poolbar waren Ende September schon geschlossen. Preis / Leistung stimmen hier gar nicht

Check‑in took more than 40 minutes. A Tauck bus had arrived and there was only one desk attendant checking people in for the first 20 minutes I was in line. Because of the long wait at reception, we missed the sunset. I paid for a room with a view and my view was 50% of the boat ramp. I went in to take a shower and there was NO hot water. This hotel is a bit dinged up and old looking. I would not stay here again. Long wait at reception—things not working, like their credit card reader, which created another step and line to wait in. No hot water. Attitude of staff at front desk—there were people working and walking around, but not invested in checking people in.
