The location was good, and the breakfast offered a wide selection, with staff often eager to help. However, the air‑conditioning in the room never cooled properly, staying at about 26 °C, and both the hotel and the room felt dated and could have been cleaner. Wi‑Fi was unavailable on the first day, and instead of the two French double beds we had booked, we received two single beds; a room change wasn’t possible because the hotel was fully booked. The pool looked appealing at first, but hygiene was an issue: a guest repeatedly spat into the water, and the staff ignored our complaint. The payment process was confusing and unprofessional. On the second day, a staff member demanded payment with a card reader in the room, contrary to the hotel’s stated policy; after I declined and insisted on the usual method, the following day I was told the payment had actually been completed there.
