The hotel restaurant serves good food and it’s close to the old town, but the furniture looks dated with peeling paint, the check‑in process is tiring, and everyone has to fill out forms.

The only real plus was the location, which is great for visiting Sighișoara; however, if you expect the quality and standards usually linked to Hilton, this hotel will disappoint you. It needs a major renovation and significant improvements in maintenance and services. We chose it because it was a DoubleTree by Hilton, expecting the minimum quality and upkeep of the chain, but the reality was very different. The rooms were very old and urgently needed a refresh; the air conditioning was extremely noisy, the curtains were broken, and overall the facilities showed clear neglect. To make matters worse, the jacuzzi was broken. Breakfast was another let‑down: low quality and a very poor selection for a hotel of this category. The most surprising thing is that a place in such condition can still operate under the Hilton name, because the experience is far from what the brand promises.
The room was fine, but breakfast cost 110 lei per person, was varied yet in small portions.
