The place was convenient, but the upgraded room had no bedside table, a flimsy light shade, uneven flooring, and the breakfast was subpar; the outside areas were littered with rubbish.

Breakfast was decent, but the double bed mattress was small and the shower was tiny.

Being close to the Thames and having friendly, helpful staff and waitresses was great, yet the building itself was in a bad state—paint, carpets, and overall upkeep were desperately needed; breakfast was disappointing and should be a buffet, and the chef refused to accommodate special food requests, like frying eggs in butter for kippers.

The riverside location was lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful, the dinner and breakfast were excellent, the menu offered a fantastic variety, and it was super dog friendly.
