The host was extremely friendly and well‑versed about the area; the homemade dinner was delicious and the breakfast was hearty and also homemade. The quietness of this cozy little nest was great, and the bathroom was a bit higher than the cottage but only for us. It was a pity that the trees in front of the windows were a bit tall, so we couldn’t see the Vercors mountains right across from us.

The location was very beautiful, the breakfast was generous, and the dinner prepared by Nicolas, a host who pays attention to every detail, was excellent. If the Observatory keeps its name, it would be wise to consider trimming some trees that are starting to block the mountain view—just a simple suggestion.

Nicolas is an adorable host, incredibly kind, with little attentions every day, always available to deliver breakfast at 2:30 am for a 4:00 am trail… the bedding was gorgeous, the dishes splendid… we liked everything.

The place was especially beautiful, exactly as in the photos—a true little paradise. Nicolas treated us like kings; the dinner and breakfast were sumptuous. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi moment after a good day of hiking. It was the best welcome we have ever received. The hospitality was so friendly and warm with many attentions. I highly recommend it.

Our host was absolutely fabulous. The meals and breakfast were excellent. Every detail was polished: dishes, sheets, décor… We were in a little bubble, like out of time. Our night of disconnect was more than successful! I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a quiet and sweet interlude.
