The breakfast was more than enough, and even though the hotel was empty, the owner had everything ready for breakfast. A benefit of staying here is that you don’t have to look for a restaurant in the evening – it’s part of the hotel. Dinner was wonderful. The spot is ideal for highway access to Stuttgart, Basel, or Frankfurt, and the hotel sits in a very quiet area. However, if you have to carry heavy luggage and stay in a loft room, you should avoid it if you have any physical issues. Older guests will find the top‑floor rooms less suitable because there is no elevator at all.

“Niet echt een hotel voor doorreis naar een vakantiebestemming.”

The standard breakfast was fine, but when we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed that evening because of village festivals, which we hadn't expected after a tiring journey. A week later, on our return, we had to call on site to let them know we arrived at 16.00h; they informed us that the key was on the door and that they only opened from 17h30 to offer something to eat or drink, which we also had counted on for a quick drink after our return.
