“La vue, la vue, certes mais dans quelle condition ?”

The view, the view, the view… the terrace with its vista is truly the pinnacle of this central spot in Siena, absolutely enchanting! However, to enjoy that view you have to climb six flights of stairs, which is no small feat, especially since there’s no breakfast service or bar to relax at before heading up. Siena is already a sporty city, so it’s a real workout; I have back issues, and even though someone offered to help with my luggage, it still proved troublesome. On top of that, the beds are very hard, and some rooms face the restaurant vents on the roof, creating a noisy disturbance.

Everything was great—clean, scenic, all that. The only downside is that it’s almost on the 7th floor and there’s no elevator. Still, if you’re heading to Siena, I strongly recommend staying here.

Everything, but the 10‑point rating goes to the terrace view. The bathroom door latch got stuck.

The location is central and the room is spotless. Just remember it’s on the 7th floor and there’s no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage or being elderly could be a challenge.

The spot is good. The room sits on the top floor and you have to climb six flights of stairs—no elevator at all.
