“Schlechte Erfahrung”

The price would have been acceptable if someone had been reachable; we were redirected to other guests at Gasthaus FALTER in Regen, who jumped into the ditch. The hotel was locked, the tavern was on a quiet day, nobody was there! Both phone numbers were unreachable, no callback, no email with a key box code. After a 600 km motorcycle trip, tired, hungry and thirsty, standing in front of a closed house is unacceptable, so the low rating. Gasthaus Falter was the opposite, straightforward and accommodating.

The view and location were nice, and the room had a fridge. However, the room was dusty with cobwebs on the walls, the floor wasn’t swept during all five days, and the coffee machine was broken. The breakfast was very limited, never refilled, and on two mornings I saw dinner food on the floor. They claimed there was no drink menu, yet one was actually available. For dinner, pork was sold out, so half the menu was gone, leaving only a vegetarian dish. We didn’t feel welcomed.

“Very quiet and beautiful surrounding”

The surroundings were great, the staff were absolutely friendly, and the breakfast was superb.

The price for a single room with breakfast was excellent, the location was quiet, the rooms were nice, and the bed was comfortable.
