The accommodation was wonderful; Pete turned it into a paradise with both the apartments and the garden. The large apartment was perfect, with beautiful materials, very clean, and all the essentials. Each room had great air‑conditioning, a lovely view, and a fantastic balcony/terrace. Pete and Elisabete were very friendly and ensured we had a nice time at Idonea, all very relaxed.

The setting of the lodging is absolutely stunning with a panoramic view of the ocean. The garden is fantastic. The host’s welcome was extraordinary.

We had a very nice stay at Idonea. Owner Pete is a very friendly, accommodating, and chatty host. The other staff members are also very kind and helpful, whether we asked about sightseeing spots, weather forecasts, or restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was exceptionally tasty with plenty of fresh fruit and freshly cooked eggs. The property is very beautiful and well‑maintained, especially the infinity pool overlooking the lovely garden and the sea. Dinner is offered three times a week in the evenings, and external guests also join. We attended once and had a lovely evening with delicious food and fantastic wine accompaniment. We really enjoyed our time.

Everything was a 10 out of 10. The grounds are full of beautiful fruit, vegetable, and flower gardens. The ocean view from our room and the main common area is amazing. Pete, the owner/host, prepares a delicious breakfast using eggs from the on‑site chickens and fresh fruit. It’s in a quiet town that feels local yet is pretty central to all tourist attractions. This place is a must!!

The view is wonderful, and the gardens and pool are a big plus. Breakfast is so substantial that we didn’t need lunch each day, and the owner makes you feel welcome. However, at this price per night, the rubbish bin isn’t emptied daily, there’s no bedside table on one side of the bed, and only tiny coffee cups are provided, useless for tea. The room is tiny, even more so than the photos suggest. The bedroom doors are frosted glass, so light from the dining area seeps in. Also, there’s a large communal dinner about twice a week with guests from other hotels; if you don’t join at the eye‑watering price, you’ll hear noise and lights next to your bedroom door until late evening.
