I was hoping for a bit of quiet and the place is impressively situated, though about 25‑30 minutes from Zagreb's center and surrounded by nature. I travel by motorcycle, so detouring here is worth it. There’s a parking lot for guests right in front of the hotel, no problem. The single room is huge and well kept. The downside: my room was on the upper floor and I could hear the motor of some unknown device on the roof, which was quite annoying. Later I discovered there was a pool, but I wasn’t told about it during check‑in; knowing that earlier would have made a difference.

The hotel is clean and well maintained, but it’s an old building that feels stuck in the 1950s, with no fridge or coffee maker in the room and a very small TV. Breakfast is basic, and dinner options are almost nonexistent, so expect disappointment if you’re looking for variety.

The location and surrounding nature are great, but the nights were very noisy. From 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. someone was shouting and screaming in front of the hotel, and the sound was heard in our fourth‑floor room even though all windows were closed. Interestingly, the hotel’s insurance is included in the price, yet no insurance representatives ever appeared to handle the situation.

We loved the beautiful natural setting and the staff were very welcoming and clean. The dining was just fine, especially the breakfast, which was perfect 👍👍👍.
