“Excellent value”

We had a late check‑in, and the woman who runs this place was super nice about it. It’s a very small place but the rooms are huge. We could walk to the beach, which was great! After we checked out we wanted to go to the beach and were worried about where to find parking, and she was kind enough to let us stay parked there as long as we were out before the next check‑in time. She really was great, and the place was surprisingly inexpensive for how big it was and how close to the beach. This didn’t bother us, but I know some people like to know this in reviews. The building did seem to be a little older. But again, this is a very inexpensive place. We had a full bedroom, a bathroom, and another large room with a couch and another bed and a kitchenette. Great value.

I appreciated how close the place was to the beach, but the room was hotter than outside, and when I asked to be moved because the AC was broken, the staff relocated me to another room that had the same issue: the AC cut out every few minutes, then stopped entirely. The unit was wired to another box with exposed wires, and the property had roaches. The beds were stained with blood, hair was everywhere, and the door had large cracks at the bottom and side where bugs could crawl in, making the heat unbearable even though it wasn’t that hot outside.
