The owners, Gert and Martie, are very involved and make you feel right at home while handling every need. Everyone’s warm hospitality really made the difference. Tacool, Vernon and Jacques, your service was exceptional. The breakfasts were outstanding, the best you’ll find. Fresh homemade food is also served at the Ye Olde Shoppe restaurant. The dinners featured traditional South African dishes, Potjies and Braai, with full interaction from the hosts (an à la carte menu is also available). Thank you for a truly memorable visit.

“Ok.”

The view of the hotel was tainted by a constant, ice‑cold strong wind and the absence of any wildflowers. When I mentioned the wind‑noise in the first room, management immediately moved me to a much better one. The staff were great. The highlight of the hotel was the comfortable lounge with a fireplace. Food at the restaurant ranged from okay to good, and breakfast was rather ordinary.
