The breakfast was adequate, no buffet, which makes sense given the off‑peak hours, and nothing was missing; overall the atmosphere felt cool, partly because the winter garden was at a low temperature, yet the staff were very friendly and helpful.

A small hotel by a beautiful lake, great food and drinks, a room larger than expected—top—, a nice place for a stopover on our trip to Copenhagen.

I booked a double room but traveled alone because of a sudden illness; even after informing the hotel and booking, I had to pay the full price and the hotel refused to accept the change, and I still had to pay for breakfast. Booking was not the problem.

The adjacent lake and terrace were nice, but the breakfast was very sparse, there were hairs in the bathroom sink, and the staff didn’t make me feel welcome.
