Convenient location, but the bedding was dirty.

The staff were incredibly friendly, which helped me feel secure even though the facilities were somewhat lacking. The location was great, especially for exploring the Galata side, and the bed and towels were clean and comfortable. However, everything felt dated, the room key was difficult to use, the windows were very thin letting in a lot of outside noise, and the shower sometimes had no water.

“this hotel has a perfect location, great value”

We had some doubts after reading a few online reviews, but the stay turned out to be outstanding! The price matched the quality perfectly. There were a few minor maintenance issues in the room, but they were trivial. The hotel’s interior was beautiful inside a historic building, and the location made it easy to walk to major sights. The staff were kind and helpful every day, and breakfast offered many tasty choices. It was truly a wonderful stay and I’ll return. If the owners replace the bedding with new sheets and fix the shower head and cabinet just to raise the prices, please keep it exactly as it is.

The beds were covered in stains, and after 2 am we had no electricity. The fridge leaked, one bedside lamp was removed and the other only had cables hanging out. Hot water was sporadic! The bathroom was even worse: the ventilation was completely moldy, every seam and shower head was moldy, the towels smelled and were dirty, and the toilet couldn’t be sat on normally because it was mounted directly in front of the sink. The toilet seat wasn’t fixed and kept sliding. Hot water was only intermittent, and the drain smelled strongly. I could list many more issues… Overall, our room was a disaster.

The location right in the city and the price were great. The room was very small and dark, and it was very noisy at night because of other hotel guests.
