I’m posting before I forget: the owner is Japanese, so he checked us in at the front desk and handled everything in Japanese, which was a huge help. Traveling with an infant and a preschooler, the staff were consistently kind throughout our stay. Because we could use the beach of a nearby property, we saved on accommodation and could spend more on activities, making it a great choice for budget‑conscious travelers. Booking tours at the front desk was easy, and we could confirm details in Japanese, which was reassuring. The only downside was that the main Alona Beach was a bit far away. On the plus side, the hotel sits in a quiet area, so the evenings were very relaxing.

There’s nothing I liked; it’s dirty, the internet is poor, rooms need updating, and there’s no receptionist to accommodate you.
