“Die guten Bewertungen der Unterkunft haben uns enttäuscht”

Walking 15 minutes to Nationalpark Ballena, we spotted 7 Aras on the tree across the street first morning. The pool was nice, and the owners were helpful and friendly. Our room, however, was very dark and on the edge of the property, right next to a noisy street. The rooms were basic and a bit worn, making it hard to relax. Overall, we felt the place didn’t live up to its ratings; we had higher expectations. Breakfast forced us to choose between sweet or savory, but we wanted both eggs and jam. It was just okay, nothing special, and compared to other accommodations it felt pricey.

The guide was very friendly and helpful, arranging the shuttle for our next destination. The beds were somewhat hard.

The pool landscape and garden were nice. A hair dryer was missing, but we requested one and they brought it along with a clothes rack. A tip for the owners: provide these items in every room for all guests.

“A must stay if you visit Uvita! Sylvia & Ferdinand are welcoming hosts!”

Exceptional stay at Dolce Uvita. Sylvia & Ferdinand were so welcoming. The room was large, the beds comfortable with good aircon, and hot water was available. The pool area was relaxing and clean. Breakfast was delicious in their lovely restaurant next door. They even insisted on parking our motorcycles in their restaurant for security. Highly recommend booking dinner there. Ferdinand makes incredible homemade pasta!
