The breakfast was just the right amount and well balanced. I think it would be even better if the room were non‑smoking and a smoking area were provided; nowadays many people might exclude it from their options because rooms can’t be smoked in, but a designated smoking area would give peace of mind.

The staff always greeted us with smiles; there were interesting books to keep us entertained and the rooms were clean. What bothered me was that the sound from other doors echoed; if many people come and go, it becomes increasingly noticeable.

All my requirements were met—everything was clearly labeled, the staff were friendly and efficient, a smoking room was available, a 24‑hour convenience store was about a five‑minute walk, and the first floor had a microwave, extra glasses, and ice. The room was clean. The location is close to a main road if driving, but it might be hard to reach by train. I don’t think the older infrastructure, like metal keys, is a big deal for the price. The TV apps were surprisingly well supported by the provider, which was a pleasant surprise.

“大当たりでした！”

I chose the hotel just by its name, “Luka”, and it turned out to be a hit! The room was spotless and I felt instantly relaxed. I stayed late checking in because I was hanging out too long at a friend’s shop in Maebashi, but the staff welcomed me with great enthusiasm. Breakfast was delicious, and the woman who prepared it was elegant and very pleasant; the hotel is a bit farther from the station, but I’d definitely book again if the chance arises. Thanks to this place, I had a wonderful short trip.
