“Not room 2”

The pub was friendly with good food, but avoid room 2. That room had a tiny toilet and a separate washroom that was also tiny. The single‑glazed sash window above the main road made mornings noisy. Other rooms looked decent, just make sure you DON'T get Room 2!

“Clean and convenient”

The staff were friendly and the place was clean, but my room faced the main road and was very noisy.

Location as fishing a 4 day festival at Look at ford lakes. My room 2 was very poor. The beds and pillows very uncomfortable. I've got bites on my neck from something. The room was never cleaned or looked at in 4 days. The owner is a shite and unfriendly and was unwilling to accommodate my needs. I thought I'd booked bed and breakfast, apparently not. I was leaving each morning about 8:15 and he refused to provide breakfasts any earlier. On booking in I thought the girl understood and had arranged breakfast. But No. So all in all it's useless for Fishermen going to Larford or the Severn, so don't stop there, I have shared that info to my fishing pals at the festival too. It's useless for workmen or women as no breakfast until after 09.00. Luckily Lakes has cafe facilities so I had breaky there and it was super. The bed I don't think had been changed as a blood spot on the sheet. I did have a drink in the bar it's got locals who do not speak and I was not welcome. So I went every night to Bewdley and ate there and had a drink in a more friendly atmostphere. Yes It's cheap but I will never, never, stop there again, neither should you. 00Pass it on

“Good location.”

The location was perfect for me since the motorbike garage I needed was only 1 mile away. Breakfast had a good variety and generous portions. The pub offered a solid beer selection and sold baps and sausage rolls. The downside was a strong cigarette smell when the window is open, as customers from the pub smoke outside the front door right below the bedroom window. The rooms are all suites and worth the £45.

“Not for Us”

The staff who greeted us, including the bar personnel, were genuinely helpful. The only bar in the village, however, was a dreadful place, full of loud men swearing; definitely not a spot for couples or families. The room itself was basic but acceptable, except for a creeping plant that had grown into the room through the window. It’s an old local village with rooms above it, and if you stay there, skip the bar.
