The staff were friendly, and on the first floor there were massage chairs, tea bags, and coffee to use; the bus stops for Bai Ma 47, Wu Long, and Yan Yue’s loop are close, so the location is nice. The wooden floor requires careful walking.

It’s near a free bus and there’s a pickup from the station; the bathroom is too small, breakfast was limited and I had to ask for more items to be refilled.

Apple was absolutely amazing, going out of her way to make our family feel at home; she knows all the resorts around Hakuba, breakfast was great and varied every day, and the common room was a great spot to relax after the slopes, chat, and meet new people; the buses are super close to the resorts and a 7/11 is only four stops away; we’ll miss you, Apple, and you and Mal should come to NZ soon. Thanks again for being a super host.

The staff were the highlight, especially Apple who went above and beyond—she supplied all the info we needed and made transport arrangements effortless. The spot is ideal, just 2 minutes from a 7‑11 and the shuttle pickup, plus great restaurants and gear hire also within 2 minutes. The facilities feel a bit dated, but for the price it’s spot‑on.

The room was spacious, the bed was very clean. Getting around was a bit difficult.
