The ranch was beautiful at the entrance of the San Ignacio oasis, with private parking and a lovely patio; the communal kitchen was available, and during our visit we were the only guests, so we had the whole place to ourselves. It could have been kept cleaner, but I understand it’s a large property that needs a lot of effort; also, if you cancel suddenly the owner won’t refund you (if the terms have expired, of course).

The location was great, the property was well kept, William was a perfect host, and staying a few nights there gave you peace and tranquility.

The hotel’s proximity to the town was a definite plus, but the door to our room was only 5’6” tall, which was a bit inconvenient.

I didn’t get breakfast included with my stay, and two things left me wanting more: the shower’s water pressure was low, and the property’s location was a bit out of town, meaning I had to drive back and forth to restaurants for meals.

The room was very dark and stuffy, with tiny windows, and there was no fridge or kettle for coffee; the fridge and coffee were only available in the common areas.
