It turned out to be a scam: the address listed on Booking isn’t the real one. We expected to stay in lively Trastevere, but ended up far from the area we wanted. Shameful!

The hot tub and kitchen have everything, plus a coffee vending machine—excellent.

The bed was very comfortable. However, it wasn’t clear that our bathroom was separate from the room, and for the price we paid it was terrible value. The amenities were very poor; we avoided them because they were in the office area. Not great!

The spot in Rome isn’t in the center, but there are plenty of cozy, fun restaurants around. It’s more of a local neighborhood, which we really liked, surrounded by residents. The pictures made it look way more luxurious than it actually is; fortunately we didn’t spend much time in the room because the weather didn’t allow it. Breakfast only offered coffee and a croissant, but we’d have preferred an egg or yogurt, and none of that was included. The city’s buzz was audible in the room, which was fine.
