Located at the foot of the Derrynasaggart Mountains, Mills Inn in Ballyvourney overlooks the River Sullane. Luxurious rooms feature antique furniture, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and tea/coffee-making facilities. The inn's Piséog's Restaurant serves European cuisine with local produce, while the traditional bar offers pub favourites, live Irish music, and local ales. The village offers shops, pubs, and countryside walks, with fishing on the river and Killarney National Park a 25-minute drive away.

Next to the room window was the kitchen’s air‑conditioning and dehumidifier, which ran all night, making it impossible to sleep without earplugs, fortunately we had them.
