The hotel sits right in the middle of town and looks well kept. I struggled to get in the first night, and on day two the room hadn’t been cleaned or the bed made. I tried to contact the hotel via WhatsApp but got no reply.

The place was clean and the location was good. The air‑conditioning didn’t cool; the lowest temperature I felt was 26 °C, while normally it was around 29‑30 °C.

The location was excellent, the room was superb with air‑conditioning and everything needed. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped.

The spot is very central and cheap. It isn’t a full hotel experience, but that’s fine for me. The instructions on how to access the suite need to be highlighted more. I spent an hour in the heat trying to figure out how to get in, because this place isn’t a hotel. Pay close attention to the instructions you receive, and make them more detailed. I saw another couple run into the same problem when opening the door. The AC failed on two of the six days I stayed; Florence was already hot and the rooms got even hotter than outside, so I couldn’t sleep those two nights. The building’s entry instructions should be emphasized, especially the very short time you have to open the door after entering the code. The internet is pretty bad, but that’s more a Florence issue than a building issue.

The place is great with an unbeatable position, and I had a great weekend partly because of the stay. The bed mattress was a bit hard, but overall I slept well.
