The location and room were good, the washroom was good, but ventilation was zero.

The staff were friendly and the lobby was clean, but the odor in the room was so strong that we had to wash all of our clothes—including the ones we never wore—at the next hotel. The smell came from the bathroom, a mix of bleach and urine, and we even found three cockroaches. Soap was placed in an ashtray, there was no hot water, and the mattress was very thin. We’re low‑maintenance backpackers, so if this were a hostel for 500 rupees a night it might be acceptable, but charging 1500–2000 rupees for that level of quality feels insane. The area itself is the dirtiest and loudest part of Ahmedabad, so stay on the other side of the river and visit the old town instead.

When we checked in, the toilets were dirty and the room didn’t match the photos; there were stains on the bedsheets. The bathroom was cozy but the lighting was poor, and overall the hotel felt under‑lit.
