The hotel was lovely, the staff very helpful and friendly, and there was nothing to dislike; beautiful flowers outside the hotel.

“Booking process is crap and we had to make the most of our new accommodation”

We couldn’t rate because when we arrived we were told our booking was cancelled due to overbooking and we were moved to a guesthouse down the road; we didn’t stay because they were overbooked.

“Friendly staff, poor cuisine”

The spot’s in the heart of the city and the host was welcoming, but the food was a total let‑down—both of us ordered mixed grill, yet the meats weren’t fried as expected, and the chef didn’t even ask how we wanted our meat cooked, which felt like a major oversight; the bedroom doors were noisy and the walls were thin, so I won’t return or recommend this place.

“Amazing value and great staff. It did what needed brilliantly. Breakfast was great.”

The location suited my trip perfectly, the staff were fantastic and the locals were friendly, though the rooms were a bit noisy from the pub below, which is understandable but still a drawback; otherwise I’d definitely come back.
