Parking is a nightmare; only about three spaces were available on the main road outside the pub and they were all taken. The parking and room faced the beer garden, so people were talking loudly all night.

The location is central, but the bathroom is truly tiny. Despite a refurbishment, the room still feels rather shabby for the price.

The bedding was clean and the room itself was tidy, with adequate towels, but there was no nearby parking and staff offered no help finding one. The TV was unusable, the shower door didn’t seal, and a key drop box meant no one could address these issues. When I tried to get help at the bar, a staff member ignored me and walked away.

The place was super cute and cozy; after canceling a flight at Gatwick I took an Uber there. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, but the Uber driver wouldn’t come to pick me up because the hotel was too far from Gatwick.
