“Excellent place, service and people.”

Mohammed was waiting for us at the airport at 1:30 AM, even though our flight had been delayed for more than an hour, and he safely transferred us to Kamel House. Fatima also stayed awake for our check‑in, kindly showed us to our room, which was really spacious and comfortable with two large beds and another small one. The AC worked perfectly, so we slept well, even though we only spent two hours in the room before waking up at 4 AM to visit Abu Simbel. Fatima woke us 15 minutes before our transfer and prepared a breakfast we could take on the road. We’re so glad we found this place! Thank you both so much, Mohammed and Fatima! Everything was perfect.

“Une expérience extraordinaire”

We especially appreciated Fatima’s kindness, the authenticity of the place, and the ability to dine on site, which is very pleasant. Fatima offers a spread of breakfast baskets. The rooms are air‑conditioned and clean. It’s a very nice experience. Nothing to add.

“Colourful family vibes”

What an incredible experience – I felt like I was coming home to my Nubian family! Fatima looked after me so well with delicious breakfasts and dinner, and Mohammed became my driver for the entire time I was in Aswan, like my auntie and uncle! The place is an explosion of colour and happiness, perfect for an artist like me. It’s a bit more of a local spot, which makes it more peaceful too; I didn’t want to leave. You will love it, trust me <3

Fatima and Muhammad are excellent hosts and eager to help with everything! We arrived late at night and Muhammad came to pick us up at a very reasonable cost. They organised a tour to Philae also at a very reasonable cost and the trip was very smooth without the need to negotiate the boat. The breakfast is very good, typical Egyptian food. Nothing else.

Very good welcome from the owners in this small, nicely decorated and colourful hotel, a little away from the city of Aswan but a pleasant stopover for a night between two flights.
