The Chainbridge Hotel

Leaving the hotel, the food was awful and I could hear loud music from the bar leaking into my room.

“This is a VERY picturesque place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.”

I stayed at this lovely spot where the setting was peaceful and beautiful; the staff were friendly and helpful, and we paid a little extra for a balcony overlooking the water, which made the nighttime water sounds a great white‑noise backdrop. The property is within a short walk of the Horseshoe Falls, which we wanted to see. The GPS misdirected us to a parking area above the hotel, so we had to walk and ask the receptionist for directions, who sorted it out. We couldn’t have dinner there because of a kitchen issue, but the receptionist suggested some local spots.

“A very pleasant place to relax.”

Breakfast offered a good selection, and the cooked breakfast was tailored to our choices; the hotel felt like a place to relax and do our own thing. Dinner by the River Dee was good, and the staff made us feel at home.

“Good stay”

The place had a very old‑world vibe, and I went canoeing on the aqueduct, so proximity mattered. Breakfast was great, but dinner was too.

“Surroundings beautiful hotel staff brilliant room a bit small.”

Breakfast good but we had a dog friendly room which would have been OK if we had a small dog but we have a collie so the room was a bit cramped. We had to go elsewhere to eat dinner , they did worn us that the kitchen wouldn't be serving dinner but still a pain. As above
