The spot is dead quiet and the scenery is really pretty, which made it a nice break from the city. The only thing missing was a comfy outdoor lounge—no couch or anything to sit in the daylight—and the price felt a bit high for what you get.

I fell in love with this hostel—it's like a little paradise surrounded by a well‑kept forest, with super‑well‑equipped cabins, fresh‑smelling linens and brand‑new fans. Every morning the view was a show, and the owners, Osmar and Matilde, were incredibly hospitable; my kid loved it too. I can’t imagine a better place to stay and will be back soon.

Sleeping to the sound of the creek and the chorus of cicadas was a real treat, and Mathilda’s shiatsu massage was spot‑on. The only hitch was that the room I was in didn’t have Wi‑Fi, which was a bit inconvenient.
