The front desk staff tried to help, yet the location seemed awful; dozens of people outside the rooms made noise all night, and I felt unsafe enough to lock the door with a chair. The room’s pillowcases were stained, the comforter had burn holes, and the phone didn’t work, so I had to use my own phone to call the desk. The TV wouldn’t turn off once I switched it on, and I ended up sleeping in my clothes.

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, but breakfast was lacking—no coffee and only Sunny D instead of real orange juice.

The room itself was okay, but the hallways looked run‑down and the bathroom had a faulty toilet. The guests were rude, loud, and slammed doors; it was 2 am near baseball fields in Bridgeport, and I was glad my son stayed elsewhere with his mom. The reviews seemed inflated; after staying at many inns, this was probably one of the worst.
