The hotel is superbly placed at the top of Kovalam beach, just a five‑minute walk away; the spacious room had a balcony with a beautiful ocean view, the staff were very attentive, I quickly got a two‑day tour covering interesting sites, the restaurant was quiet and the food was good.

Nice big room. View of sea Warm pool. Building work going on around the pool. The building was quite dated Pool very small & not much shade - only 2 umbrellas Although the sea very close, can’t get to it directly from the hotel. Internet connection very intermittent

The room was very comfortable with a large, sun‑protected balcony and spotless. Breakfast was excellent, the staff were very competent, and the food was delicious. There was no direct beach access, and a water leak could have been handled better to avoid guest inconvenience.

The hotel offers a nice view, and the restaurant staff are very friendly and service‑oriented. However, we had 12 hours in the bathroom with no water, another 24 hours with only a brief supply on request, and the first 12 hours we were repeatedly told the water would return in 5‑10 minutes. The pool was unusable for 2½ of the five days. No apology or compensation was offered, and management did nothing. Even a request for a bucket to have water for the toilet and handwashing had to be made by us. This is unacceptable for a hotel at this price point, so we cannot recommend the property.
