Peaceful and beautiful, with amazing food, though hardly any animals were seen on the property itself – not a big deal.

The lodge is exceptional, beautifully decorated and tasteful, and the rooms are magnificent, private, comfortable and well decorated; the hosting and food experience is probably one of the best we’ve ever had. We love the bush, and being in the bush is special enough, but this game reserve is probably a 6/10 for game viewing; there’s a lot of water in the bush that makes it hard to spot animals, and this is our third trip to Welgevonden with the same results. You’ll struggle to find the Big 5, and seeing 2–3 of them is lucky.

Laluka exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, Tyrone's expert guiding made our game drives truly unforgettable. The suites were spacious, spotless, and offered breathtaking views of the valley. We enjoyed delicious meals and snacks throughout the day, and the staff's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. It's clear that Tyrone and his team put a lot of thought into creating an exceptional experience for their guests.

Le Laluka safari lodge is an invitation to escape the ordinary and experience the extraordinary. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you're home, surrounded by an intimate and refined atmosphere. The staff are all about making you feel at ease, with expertly prepared meals, top-notch service, and a genuine smile. The guides are passionate about sharing their knowledge of the bush and its complexities, and the lodges are beautifully decorated and comfortable. It's truly a 5-star experience.

We were blown away by the style and elegance of this lodge, which is beautifully decorated and has its own plunge pool that was warmed up just for us before we arrived. The meals are a real treat, and the staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. We saw an incredible number of animals on our game drives with guide Stephan, who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
