“Zell am See as part of our summer tour and never visited before.”
Situated in the heart of Zell am See, the hotel is within walking distance of all major sights, and the breakfast is excellent with very friendly staff.
A very nice hotel right in the center of Zell am See. If someone is going to the Ironman 70.3 Zell am See like I am, this hotel is ideal. It’s practically at the finish line and near the expo. Parking in the underground garage with the hotel discount is 15 EUR/day. The Sommerkarte at this hotel is a big plus because most attractions nearby are included. I recommend it! When I want to return to Zell, I’ll choose the same hotel.

The property sits right in the town center, perfect for cycling, and there are plenty of eateries nearby. The downside is the garbage truck arrives at 06:00 every morning.
“Nice place, good location but very poor service”
Right in the middle of Zell am See old town, close to the train station. When I checked in around 16:45 yesterday, the reception was deserted. I found a housekeeper in the restaurant who told me to wait until the receptionist came. After a 20‑minute wait, a receptionist lady appeared and was really rude, giving no explanation at check‑in. When I asked about the summer card she said I should download the app and it would be there. At check‑out the reception was empty again… No welcome, no goodbye, not very welcoming at all.
