The couple who rent out the place are incredibly kind and amazing. Annmarie messaged me suggestions on WhatsApp and I tried five of them—each one was great. The room feels cozy and cute and everything is within walking distance. Diego made me breakfast when I had to leave at 0600 and called a cab for me. They truly go above and beyond. The only thing I didn’t like was that there are many stairs to climb; it would be tough with a big suitcase.

It’s in the heart of Naples’ historic center, yet remarkably quiet thanks to its location on a relatively secluded side street and its view overlooking a peaceful inner courtyard. The hosts, Diego and his wife, were extremely kind, spoke English, and were happy to help with anything we needed. They also generously agreed to store our luggage well beyond the normal check‑in time. Breakfast was served in our room at the time we requested and was more than sufficient. The only downside is the 99 steps leading up to the apartment; it was not a problem for us, but it may be challenging for older guests or families with small children.
