Everything we needed was in the cabin—quiet surroundings, good mattresses, a handy kitchenette, and a cozy sitting area. However, the cabin was not clean: there were stains on the placemats and the sofa protector, the sink wasn’t polished, and the kitchen towels and dishcloths were probably not washed. The worst part was that the bed linens weren’t fresh; there were stains on the mattress cover and the duvet had no cover, so it wasn’t pleasant to get into bed at night. We ended up using our own bedding and sleeping bag. The CO detector flashes brightly every so often, which made sleeping uncomfortable.
