The hotel sits in a convenient spot and the rooms were spotless, though the décor feels a bit dated; it seems the property is still being upgraded. There’s no bar and breakfast isn’t offered, but several good restaurants are just a short walk away.

The staff were extremely kind and did everything they could with a place that’s clearly seen better days. The building itself smelled like a mix of mould and deep‑fried food, which made me feel queasy, so they moved us to the Grand Hotel next door, where the air was fresher and the staff were just as lovely.

The location is excellent, but the room is cramped and a huge wardrobe blocks the space. The tiny TV mounted high on the wall is practically unusable, and there’s no fridge or dining area, so you’re basically paying only for a room.

Quirky and had the most amazing view. It is in the process of some work but I ignored the previous reviews. Absolutely happy with my stay. Great help with bags being carried to my room. Plenty of coffee/tea etc. Nothing

The location!!! The room was very clean and tidy. Very slow check‑in and unfortunately the restaurant was closed.
