Hotel zur Heideblüte

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the German food at the restaurant was tasty. The hotel is old and worn out, not well maintained. The playground in the garden was almost falling apart. There was spiderweb and a crib in the room.

“für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Ordnung”

Breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We booked two rooms; in one the bathroom was very outdated and had no storage space.

The family rooms were nice, suitable even for families with three children. Unfortunately, rooms of this type are becoming rarer. The garden was pleasant with an adjoining playground, so parents could enjoy their food in peace.

“Ok, aber zu teuer. Das Frühstück ist aber unschlagbar!”

The breakfast was amazing, with a fantastic selection that I rarely find elsewhere – absolutely great! The air in the room felt stale, and when the windows were open, traffic from the main street right outside was audible. The mattresses were saggy, and although the furnishings were clean, they had lost their shine a few years ago. That alone isn’t a deal‑breaker, but for 180 € per night (including breakfast) I’ve stayed in places that felt newer and more comfortable. On top of that, there was no parking spot left for our car on the main lot, which annoyed me because we had to carry our luggage a bit farther.

“Es war eine schöne kurze Auszeit. Die Zimmer waren komfortabel, auch wenn im Untergeschoss sich viele Insekten ins Zimme”

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offered a solid range of fish, sausages, cheese, salads, cereals, and homemade jams.
