The host was very friendly and helped us book the best safari, even joining us on the trip and ensuring everything was covered. The property itself, however, was quite smelly and not worth the price for those who can stay elsewhere.

I loved the cozy atmosphere and the host was fantastic. Nothing else stood out as a problem.

The host was great, the safaris were good, and the rooms were spacious. Booking the triple room essentially meant renting the whole place. The host’s mum cooked dinner that was delicious and lovely. We saw leopards and many birds, which made us very happy. A nice restaurant called Bawarchi is about a 7‑minute walk away. We stayed two nights and did two safaris, which felt like a good amount of time. The bathrooms were a bit unclean but not terrible, and the beds were firm—some people might prefer that.

The place was spotless and the host was friendly and honest. The tour offered good value, and groups could split the cost. I highly recommend it.

We usually stay in at least 4‑star hotels in India, but we chose this hostel because we could book the entire place (8 beds, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen). The owner, Gaurav, was amazing—genuine, kind, and he arranged and joined us on safaris, appearing to be one of the more experienced guides. He also showed us where to eat, and the food was genuinely nice; we went there both days we stayed. He made breakfast for us one day, which was really nice—even for our driver. The bathroom requires a bucket bath because the shower is cold, which is fine. The hostel is a 40‑minute drive from the safari start point. I would recommend it because you get personalized service unlike most hotels. I liked everything, and the ample space was a plus.
