The location is good, right in the center, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is solid. The room is small but still comfortable. The only downside is the stairs.

Hotel Clemens is located in Amsterdam's city centre, a 4-minute walk from the Royal Palace and 500 metres from Dam Square. Rooms feature a bathroom with rainshower, flat-screen TV, minibar, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms offer garden or Westerkerk and Royal Palace views. The hotel is close to tram and bus stops, with the Museum District, Anne Frank House, and Leidseplein nearby.

Very comfortable beds and helpful staff. The stairs are steep, but they were extremely helpful with luggage. They were also very welcoming and gave great recommendations for meals and transportation!

The location is great in a charming old building full of character. The staff were very helpful and friendly, taking our luggage, fixing our room location issue, giving dinner recommendations nearby, and assisting with transit and the best way to reach the airport. Breakfast was nice with many options, great coffee, and a lovely balcony off the lobby to enjoy city views and the street below. And of course there were two beautiful cats in residence. The downside is that there are many stairs and no elevator, but the staff were very helpful moving our luggage up and down.

I found great value here. The beds, bathroom, cleanliness, and breakfast availability were all pleasing. The only drawback for me is the stairs.
