The host was very gracious and the place was absolutely spotless; I could also park off‑road, which I appreciated. The instructions were clear and detailed, and the value for money was terrific. I probably should have asked, but the single bed (as described) had a footboard. I’m 6'4" with size‑13 feet, so a footboard made the bed feel like sleeping in an Iron Maiden—my feet weren’t at the right angles, and the heater in the room didn’t seem to work, but the duvet was very thick, which helped.
